We begin the journey in Fancourt and our accommodations there are the luxurious Manor House, located in the heart of the Garden Route for easy access to all area attractions. Guests are pampered by personalized butler service at Manor House, where 19th century charm meets modern day indulgences.

We then fly to Cape Town and take a scenic drive across the Boland Mountains, arriving in the Cape Winelands where we will stay for two nights at the exceptional and peaceful, Le Quartier Francais. From there we return to Cape Town and base ourselves at the at the famous Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, a bustling entertainment precinct but also a working port. Cape Grace Hotel, a 5-star hotel ideal for easy explorations of the waterfront and surrounds. We explore the city and its nearly four-century deep history as well as its many stunning natural sights.

After our nonstop flight from Cape Town to Skukusa we arrive at our final stop, Jock Safari Lodge, in time for an afternoon game drive. Jock is the first private lodge set in the heart of Africa’s premier wildlife reserve, the Kruger National Park, and we’ll enjoy four nights here. Sunday, October 12

Arrive in South Africa today where our VIP staff at Cape Town or Johannesburg Airports will meet you at your aircraft and assist you through Immigration and Customs, and on to your flight connection to George Airport on the Southern Cape coast.

See pricing information for more detail on the internal flights that are booked as part of the schedule.

In George you will be met and driven to the Fancourt Estate, just 8 minutes from the airport. Depending on your arrival time, you could add a round of golf, get your swing grooved at the Fancourt Academy or book a spa treatment at the hotel.

Welcome cocktails and dinner are included this evening, giving you an opportunity to meet your fellow travellers.

NON-GOLFER TOURING NOTE:
On golfing days, non-golfers have a private guide and vehicle assigned to explore the local area. SIGHTSEEING HIGHLIGHTS in the schedule show the main touring opportunities recommended each day, which can be adjusted for special interest as required. GOLF: Today play Fancourt - The Outeniqua. Designed by Gary Player and remodeled in 2004 by David McKlay-Kidd (Bandon Dunes), the Montagu is South Africa's best parkland golf course. With the highest levels of conditioning and true championship layout, The Montagu at Fancourt sets the standards by which all other courses in South Africa are measured. GOLF: Today play Pinnacle Point. Magnificently perched atop staggering cliffs, this windswept course three hours east of Cape Town and a half hour south of George marks a major addition to South Africa’s already world-class golf scene. Six of the holes play across deep chasms to greens that seem to float in the Indian Ocean. The yawning ravines and distant horizons can make 150-yard shots look like twice that length. On the par-four eighth, tee and green sit on opposing bluffs; big hitters can attempt an all-or-nothing carry with the hope of having an easy wedge in or play it safe by bailing out left and facing a much longer approach. Created from a previously flat piece of land, over 700 000 cubic metres of earth was moved in transforming it into a typical Links style. The course presents undulating terrain and dune-style landscape and is the only such course in South Africa. Every hole has received detailed attention to ensure that the overall balance in terms of length, position of hazards and shot values are in harmony. As a result, The Links presents a stern test in all weather conditions. Host course of the 2003 Presidents Cup, 2005 Women's World Cup and 2006 South African Open. Fancourt - The Outeniqua

Beautifully maintained, the Outiniqua course is a parkland design of the highest quality. Often referred to as the 2nd Fancourt Course, Outiniqua can easily stand alone as a wonderful golf outing. Perhaps slightly easier than the Montagu, it’s not to be taken lightly as water hazards factor into 11 holes. Although the course moves through a fair amount of housing, it is well set back and carefully hidden with the use of flower beds, trees and well placed water hazards.

Pinnacle Point

The renowned architect Peter Matkovich put it best, describing the property at Pinnacle Point by saying, ‘this is the most dramatic golf course site I’ve ever encountered anywhere in the world.’ It’s difficult to argue with his assessment. Set high above the Indian Ocean, providing sensational, breathtaking views of the crystal blue water from across the course, this is truly a magnificent and memorable design. In all seven holes run parallel to the ocean shore. The home hole is a fierce risk-reward par-5.

Fancourt - The Links

The Links, a privately owned club that sits alongside Fancourt, is the No. 1 ranked course in South Africa and is included in the Top 100 courses outside the USA. Over 700,000 cubic metres of earth were moved to transform the old George Airport into an incredible Links style course. The course presents undulating windswept terrain and dune-style landscape that is always in immaculate condition. The Links presents a stern test in all weather conditions. It is the Host course of the 2003 Presidents Cup, 2005 Women's World Cup and 2006 South African Open along with other European Tour events.

Pearl Valley

Set in the famous Franschhoek Wine region, this Jack Nicklaus Signature Course is a treat to play. Pearl Valley is considered one of the top conditioned courses. As with many Nicklaus courses, water on the right with plenty of sand, will keep the golfers minds off the wide landing areas provided. The course and it's geographical location allow for guests to enjoy a day outing in the Winelands with high quality golf to compliment the food and wine.

Leopard Creek

Situated near Malelane in the heart of Mpumalanga, on the southern border of the Kruger National Park, Leopard Creek presents a rare opportunity to play an outstanding bushveld golf course. The course is remotely located and is therefore only recommended for clients looking to add a safari option in Southern Kruger or those using private air-charter services.

Golf Handicap Limit: The golf courses we play around the world offer varying challenges. Players often require to be of a certain standard to properly and fully experience them in the company of likeminded fellow golfers. We therefore set a maximum permitted golf handicap to participate on our tours and cruises; The maximums are 28 for men and 36 for ladies.

Golf Courses: The included list may be subject to change in the event of any club accepting any conflicting national or international event, or for any other reason. Should such a situation occur, PerryGolf will endeavour to book a course of comparable standard, and all booked guests would be notified of the change and replacement venue at the earliest opportunity.
