Your Itinerary

The Table Bay Hotel is a five-star, 329-room hotel and it uniquely responds to its magnificent surroundings. It has a maritime flavour that extends to each room and suite, which has sea or mountain views and is a luxurious port of call. The interior of the hotel presents a kaleidoscope of impressions, from the European marble mosaic of the entrance court to the intricate parquet floor of the foyer framed by the full-scale drama of Table Mountain, with the activity of the harbour in the foreground. Below the foyer to the south, is the grand lounge with its cathedral ceiling and twin fireplaces. The Table Bay is situated adjacent to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront shopping and entertainment complex overlooking the Cape Town harbour and is five minutes from the city centre. A nearby dock, capable of accommodating an ocean liner, is at the threshold of the restaurant. The restaurant, has a private dining bay and Wine Cellar, and panoramic views of the mountain range and harbour. The hotel has a heated pool, well equipped gym and a health spa on site.

<Day 3 ~ Steenberg Golf Club

Play today at Steenberg (tbc). An 18 hole championship course designed by Peter Matkovich; a backdrop of vineyards, gardens, forests and mountains provides the setting for this beautiful exclusive course. The course is always in excellent condition with bent grass greens and lush fairways. Steenberg offers you the opportunity of excellent golf within the historic setting of one of the Cape's oldest wine farms. Dating back to 1682 the vineyards have been replanted and 140 acres are now under vines.

image

<Day 5 ~ Pearl Valley Golf Club

Play today at Pearl Valley (tbc). Set in the famous Franschhoek Wine region, this new Jack Nicklaus Signature Course is a treat to play. Pearl Valley is probably in the top conditioned course in South Africa. As with many Nicklaus courses, water on the right with plenty of sand, will keep the golfers mind off the wide landing areas provided. Also a new development, the course and it's geographical location allow for guests to enjoy a day outing in the Winelands with high quality golf to compliment the food and wine. A second course, 'Bears Best' will be built shortly on the same property. (cart fee included)
image

<Day 5 2 nights ~ Arabella Western Cape Hotel & Spa

.

Your Itinerary

The exclusive 5 star Deluxe Collection Arabella Western Cape Hotel and Spa boasts a grand championship golf course and is situated on the Arabella Country Estate next to Southern Africa's largest and most beautiful natural lagoon. Only a short drive from the celebrated whale haven of Hermanus, the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town, Cape Agulhas - the southern most tip of Africa and the Cape wine route, makes this location unique. A total of 145 bedrooms offer exceptional accommodation designed to make your stay comfortable, convenient and pleasurable. Spacious, equipped with the latest communications and entertainment systems and modern conveniences, the suites and rooms give the visitor both a luxurious retreat as well as efficient contact with the rest of the world, should you require it.

<Day 6 ~ Arabella Golf Club

Today play Arabella (tbc). Ranked no. 5 in South Africa in 2005, Arabella is perfectly designed to exploit is unique position alongside the largest natural lagoon in Southern Africa. The 8th, 9th, 17th and 18th holes run parallel to the lagoon, proving a truly memorable experience. Choosing a signature hole proves to be an extremely difficult task as all of the holes are well designed with spectacular views. The course is the host course to the Nelson Mandela Invitational, Africa's premier Pro-am Charity Event. (cart fee included)
image

<Day 7 ~ Pinnacle Point Golf Estate

Today play Pinnacle Point (tbc). Magnificently perched atop staggering cliffs, this windswept course three hours east of Cape Town and a half hour south of George marks a major addition to South Africa’s already world-class golf scene. Six of the holes play across deep chasms to greens that seem to float in the Indian Ocean. The yawning ravines and distant horizons can make 150-yard shots look like twice that length. On the par-four eighth, tee and green sit on opposing bluffs; big hitters can attempt an all-or-nothing carry with the hope of having an easy wedge in, or play it safe by bailing out left and facing a much longer approach. Throughout the layout, the architects wisely designed large, fairly flat greens that yield plenty of sensible pin placements and give golfers who have run a gauntlet just to get to the green a bit of a break. (cart fee included)
