Enjoy a morning sail of the Seine river with lunchtime arrival in Rouen.
Rouen, capital of the northern French region of Normandy, is set on the river Seine. Important in the Roman era and Middle Ages, it has Gothic churches, such as Saint-Maclou and Saint-Ouen, and a cobblestoned pedestrian center with medieval half-timbered houses. The first thing you may notice as you approach Rouen is the Cathedral of Notre Dame of Rouen towering high above the city; but be sure to explore the old town or visit Paris, which is within easy reach by frequent and fast train service.

GOLF: Dinard Golf Club sits on a beautiful promontory at Saint-Briac, with beaches on each sides. The Club was founded by a small colony of British residents living in Dinard at the end of the 19th century, and following many negotiations the Scots architect Tom Dunn was engaged and completed the long-awaited course in 1887. Its sandy soil makes for an exceptional links turf. As further testament to its significance, in 2015 the Club House was classified as a “monument historique”.

The panoramic view over the course from the clubhouse is also a thrill for any golfer. It is currently ranked #3 in France by Golf Digest.
SIGHTSEEING: Bordeaux’s fortunes have long been tied to viticulture, beginning with an expansion of the wine trade with England in the 14th century. As a result it is a handsome and cohesive city of uniform classical and neoclassical style, with monumental buildings and many fine estates financed by the almighty grape. The nearby countryside is alive with wine chateaux sporting impressive appellations such as Pauillac, Sauternes, Margaux, and Saint-Emilion.
