Royal Melbourne Golf Club
Australia
The East Course at Royal Melbourne winds through tea tree and Red River gum trees as golfers face a variety of well-bunkered doglegs that demand tee shots struck with thought and precision. The greens are small and undulating, filled with swales and runoffs that reject errant approaches. The 16th is considered one of the best par-3s in the world. It's signature quality is a monstrous bunker that cuts into the front of the green. Ben Crenshaw described it as a "beautiful" hole.
