Play Lahinch (tbc). Originally designed by Old Tom Morris and later modified by Dr. Alister MacKenzie and most recently Martin Hawtree, the course has a vast array of grass covered knolls and sweeping contours. Optimal use is made of the many natural sand dunes, notably at the par three 5th hole, "The Dell", where the green is completely hidden from the tee. Lahinch is the permanent home to the South of Ireland Amateur Championship.

This six night, five round package tours the finest courses in Western Ireland, presenting a blend of classic and modern links layouts. It's available from April to October. Lahinch has enjoyed the supreme touch of genius designers of many generations, first Old Tom Morris, followed by Alister Mackenzie and Martin Hawtree. The Dell is a unforgettable par-3 with a tee shot to a hidden green. Greg Norman designed a masterpiece at Doonbeg, taking advantage of the natural setting and majestic beauty the area afforded him. County Louth is a hidden gem dating back to 1892 that features just 50 bunkers, allowing the gorse and hilly terrain that borders the fairways to serve as its natural defense. Carne maintains a natural and beautiful appeal as it sits in splendid isolation along the Wild Atlantic Way, overlooking Blacksod Bay. Continue on to Enniscrone, on the West Coast of Ireland, is situated between the Ox Mountains and Killala Bay and presents not only a fine test of golf but exceptional beauty as well. Deluxe accommodations are provided at Trump Doonbeg and Mount Falcon.

Golf Schedule
Grass-covered knolls, sweeping contours and natural sand dunes mark this phenomenal links that routinely ranks among the top 100 courses in the world. Blind tee shots are unforgettable, and hiring a caddy is strongly recommended to help navigate Lahinch. Any course that claims three masters of architecture such as Old Tom Morris, Dr. Alister MacKenzie and Open Championship course doctor Martin Hawtree is one that must be experienced and savored like a nip of Jameson’s or a pint of Guinness.
It wasn’t until 2002 when Greg Norman, designed this magnificent par 72 links course…carved out of a landscape of grass covered dunes which border the Atlantic Ocean for over 6,800 yards. Offering panoramic views of the ocean and the Irish countryside on each hole, the layout stretches 1.5 miles of crescent shaped beach along Doughmore Bay. In line with Norman’s philosophy of ‘least disturbance, ‘he took the natural route in designing the links out through the sand dunes.
Breathtaking scenery and a phenomenal mix of golf holes blend nicely at County Sligo at Rosses Point. On the shores of Drumcliffe Bay, with the Ox Mountains in the distance, golfers play a course on rolling terrain that has challenged legends of the game from Byron Nelson to Rory McIlroy. The legendary American Tom Watson described the par-4 No. 14 as one of his favorites, while the strong quartet of par-3s aren’t overly long in distance but demand precise shots.

Carne sits in splendid isolation along the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast of Ireland, overlooking Blacksod Bay. Minimal earth was moved to create this links and it maintains a natural, beautiful appeal. Enjoy delightful views encompassing the Atlantic Ocean and white, sandy beaches while navigating your round. The finishing hole, “Log ‘A Fola” features an ancient burial ground to the right and ample opportunities to kill a promising round before reaching the green on the par-5 that measures 541 yards from the tips.
Set along the scenic west coast of Ireland in County Sligo on a promontory that juts into Killala Bay, the Dunes at Enniscrone is a true Irish links. Hackett used the natural contours and the majestic landscape to craft this design. Altogether, 12 of the 18 holes wind through the shaggy dunes that border the coast. The course culminates with a magnificent stretch of four holes running parallel to the Atlantic Ocean. A sharp bump-and-run game is useful here.
