(WILMINGTON, NC) PerryGolf announces today that its annual golf cruise to the British Isles including 6 (or 3) rounds of marquee golf plus attendance on the weekend to The 151st Open at Royal Liverpool is more than 60% booked. This reflects a broader trend for international golf travel bookings being made much further in advance than usual.

“Since travel restrictions lifted earlier this year, the demand we’ve seen for all of our cruise and tour vacations has pushed the booking window beyond anything we’ve experienced since we started in 1984,” explains PerryGolf co-founder and president Gordon Dalgleish. “What used to be an 8–10 month window is now as much as two years.”

2023 British Isles Golf Cruise & The 151st Open at Royal Liverpool
July 20 – August 1, 2023

The British Isles voyage is the flagship of PerryGolf’s annual golf cruise portfolio of 18 - 20 worldwide departures. 2023 will gather 75-80 likeminded golf couples for a 12-night, 8 port voyage from Dublin to Edinburgh. Guests will choose from either of two flights each offering six courses ranging from Royal Portrush and Royal County Down in Ireland to Royal Dornoch and Kingsbarns in Scotland. For those who favor more sightseeing, PerryGolf offers a pair of “golf lite” packages each with 3 rounds highlighted by Royal Portrush and Castle Stuart in the Scottish Highlands.

PerryGolf’s cruise partner since 2011 is Azamara® whose small-sized cruises for less than 700 passengers are ideal for the purpose. They are large enough to offer luxury accommodation, fine dining and live entertainment yet nimble enough to navigate smaller ports for premium docking positions.

2023 Scotland & Northwest England Escorted & The 151st Open at Royal Liverpool
July 16 – 24, 2023

This fixed-itinerary, fully hosted land tour for 10-15 couples is one of seven that PerryGolf will offer in 2023. The schedule begins on Scotland’s Ayrshire Coast with three nights at Trump Turnberry Resort including play at Turnberry’s Ailsa Course and Royal Troon which will host The 152nd Open in 2024. Sightseeing is highlighted by guided tours of Culzean Castle and Dumfries House. Over the next five nights in Liverpool, Guests will stay at the luxurious Hope Street Hotel located in the city’s cultural quarter and just 30 minutes from Royal Liverpool. Golf includes Royal Lytham & St Annes plus Hillside. Guests will attend The 151st Open at Royal Liverpool on Saturday and Sunday.
