Born and raised in Helensburgh, Scotland, Gordon Dalgleish attended the College of William & Mary on a Mark H. McCormack scholarship, where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. In 1984, Gordon and his brother Colin founded PerryGolf joining a short list of competitors that represented the beginning of the industry for specialized golf tour operators. PerryGolf’s goal was to exceed traveler expectations in every facet of providing the most memorable golf travel experiences imaginable. These two accomplished Scottish golfing brothers have done exactly that for nearly four decades.

Gordon’s role in the company is comprehensive with a focus on Marketing and Sales plus Air Travel Services. He routinely provides personal assistance to clients and prospects and has become a preferred interview for golf and travel journalists.

An advocate for amateur golf, Gordon served as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Junior Golf Association (1988 – 2000). Among many other personal golf successes, he was the Chinese Amateur Golf Champion in 1995. Gordon has been recognized on multiple occasions by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine as one of the Top Travel Specialists in the United States. He has served as a Panelist for GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Courses since 2002.

Gordon proudly supports countless philanthropic organizations. He was Chairman of The First Tee of Greater Wilmington from 2015 until 2021. To no surprise, two of his many pastimes include playing golf and travelling the world, but most of all he enjoys spending time with his family.

Gordon resides with his wife, Marion, and son, Sterling in Wilmington, North Carolina but will always maintain his roots in Scotland.
