Verizon clients traveling internationally can now opt in to TravelPass, which allows you to take your talk, text and data allowances with you. It’s an economical way to stay connected while you travel because you’re only charged on the days you use your device abroad, and that cost is just $10 per day in most locations.

While other providers like Sprint and T-Mobile offer free roaming, Verizon’s 3G and 4G service is a vast upgrade compared to competitors’ slow 2G options. Whether or not TravelPass is the answer, it’s certainly another viable option to consider when planning to travel abroad.
