Cowarth Park Hotel & Spa in Ascot is one of the Dorchester Hotel Group’s country collection and opened its doors in September 2010. Built in 1776, this beautiful Georgian dwelling was the home of a few noble families. At the turn of the century it became the residence of the 17th Earl of Derby. The famous race at Epsom was named after the 12th Earl and at various times, Cowarth Park played host to Royalty. The Prince and Princess of Wales, Edward VII and Queen Alexandria have all stayed there while attending the racing at Ascot.
The hotel has close links with Wentworth Golf Club and guests of the hotel can include a round of golf in their stay. The three restaurants are superb and open to non-residents which makes them very tempting to golfers staying nearby. Head Chef, John Campbell has two Michelin Stars and is best known for his innovative and inspiring menus.
