We are saddened to learn of the passing of Australian golfer, Peter Thomson, who shall forever be remembered as one of the great champions in the game.
Peter was one of the most celebrated Champion Golfers in the history of The Open, which he won five times including 1954, 1955, 1956, 1958 and 1965. He joins Young Tom Morris as the only other golfer in history to have won The Open three consecutive years.
He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1988.
