Unless you’re an international traveler, you may not have realized that wait times are nearing 2.5 to 3 hours at peak times when arriving back in the US and checking in through Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at some major airports.
What to do? Sign up for Global Entry. The online application takes about 15 minutes to fill out, costs $100, and lasts for 5 years once you’re enrolled. After you receive your preliminary Global Entry approval, just schedule an interview at the closest Global Entry for final approval and kiosk training – it only takes 20 minutes. And in about a week, you should receive your Global Entry membership card, which actually isn’t necessary to bring with you to the airport since it’s online.

The Ryder Cup is a men’s golf tournament played between Europe and the United States every two years. The venue for the competition, which is administered by both the PGA of America and the PGA European Tour, alternates equally between Europe and the U.S locations. The Ryder Cup is named after the Englishman Samuel Ryder, who donated the prized trophy.
