Carnoustie Golf Links is a 45 minute drive north of St Andrews. Carnoustie’s Championship Course has hosted The Open Championship on seven occasions, most recently in 2007. It is set to host the 147th Open Championship in 2018.

Royal Troon Golf Club hosted its ninth Open Championship in 2016, a tradition that began with its first in 1923. Found five miles north of Prestwick on Scotland’s west coast, the club was founded in 1878.
