Queenstown Benefits from Two Hilton Hotels

Further to my post last May noting that Hilton were planning to open a hotel in Queenstown, they have thought better of this and decided to open not one hotel, but two in the Adrenaline sports hot spot. You can see further details by clicking here.

It should be noted that Queenstown is not just for the thrill seekers – there are some great courses including Jack’s Point and Millbrook, and just up the road in Arrowtown, you will find The Hills – which until recently was home to the New Zealand Open. It is also a great base from which to travel to the stunningly beautiful Milford Sound and has some excellent wineries on its doorstep.

Merrion Hotel in Dublin Receives Top Ranking

The Merrion Hotel in Dublin has recently been ranked in the Top 10 2011 for “World’s Best Service” by Travel & Leisure Magazine. The hotel is a firm favourite of our clients when staying in Dublin City as it’s in an excellent location. The Spa & the renowned Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud are a must while in Dublin.

The Nail Bar at Gleneagles

When we heard in the office that the Gleneagles Hotel had added a very smart and trendy Nail Bar to the facilities, we were looking forward to trying it out on our next visit. So imagine my delight when an invitation arrived from an old friend to join her and some other friends for a girlie weekend at the hotel to celebrate her 50^th birthday! The Nail Bar can be hired for such occasions and what a time we had choosing between the ‘Be Glamorous’ and ‘Be Gorgeous’ packages which include champagne. The Nail Bar team were great fun and very patient and helpful as we chose our colours, patterns, etc from the range of designs and finishes in Shellac and Minx ranges.

We were all delighted with the results and trotted happily off to afternoon tea in the Braid’s Coffee Lounge clutching our glamorous beauty gift from the range.

The Manor House at Fancourt

Fancourt Resort in South Africa is located in the countryside of George on the renowned Garden Route. This excellent resort has 3 great courses and now has the fabulous added addition of a five star hotel on the estate named The Manor House at Fancourt; a luxury boutique-style hotel. The building was originally the homestead that was established in 1859 but has been renovated to produce 18 luxury suites.

It’s a great appendage to what is already an excellent resort.
