I read with sadness this morning the news that Christchurch has been hit by another earthquake just months after the last one in Septembers 2010. While they were lucky the last time having had no fatalities, this time around the quake was not as strong, however 65 people are reported to have been killed with that number likely to rise.
I have spent some time in the city and it is a great place with some beautiful buildings, especially the cathedral which has been hit badly. One can only sympathise with the people of this part of the world what with cyclones, floods, earthquakes and forest fires endured in the last few months.
